The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) and GEOHuntsville are co-sponsoring the second geospatial themed summit. With the theme “GEOResilience,” this conference is an opportunity for government agencies non-profit organizations, academia and industry to engage in discussions on partnerships, innovative technologies, and the growing geospatial ecosystem in Huntsville.

NGA’s Deputy Director Tonya Wilkerson will provide the opening keynote at the conference. Huntsville Mayor Tommy Battle will deliver closing remarks.

The event will be hosted by Intelligence National Security Alliance (INSA) President, Suzanne Heckenberg.

Students, academics, government and industry are all invited to join the conversation during this one-day, in-person event at the Jackson Center on April 3rd, 2024, 8:30 am – 2:40 pm CT, with a networking social and student career fair immediately to follow.

NGA delivers world-class geospatial intelligence products and services that policymakers, military service members, and first responders need, when they need it most. As a member of the Intelligence Community and the Department of Defense, NGA supports a unique mission set. We are committed to acquiring, developing and maintaining the proper technology, people and processes that enable overall mission success.

GEOHuntsville is a 501c(6) non-profit corporation whose mission is to enhance the community’s ability to identify, innovate and expand its geospatial expertise and resources, advance economic and workforce development and facilitate geospatial solutions to address natural and human-caused threats to our community and nation.

Career Fair for Students:

Following the conference, we will host a career fair for students to meet and network with representatives from government agencies, academia and industry. Recruiters will be onsite from NGA, other government agencies and industry to talk with students about career opportunities. We will host a Career Fair 2:40-5pm for active students.
